My hubby and I always procrastinate on getting our taxes done. Every year we say, "next year we'll do them earlier" ... and every year we wait until the last minute.
So, this weekend is tax weekend. Gathering, adding, recording - that's what I feel like I've been doing most of the day. I am happy to say, a huge dent has been made. Tomorrow may be the end of the tunnel. Fingers crossed!
And, "next year we'll do them earlier!" LOL!

Here are a few more pages! I'm a little late, as his birthday was last weekend! LOL! This may end up being a Father's Day gift, since I gave him something else for his birthday. At least it's digital, it ended up not taking nearly as long to create as if it were paper scrapbooking. The time involved was choosing which pictures I wanted to include.

I took my oldest son in for a well visit at the Dr. office today. He will be turning 11 in a couple of weeks.
Well, he is officially only 4 inches shorter than I am. WOW! It won't be long, and I'll be looking up to one of my children. The Dr. said he was doing well. The osteocondroma on his arm (if you remember that from a few months back) is doing fine - not bothering him. AND... he's heading into puberty! ECK!! I wasn't ready for that news! LOL!
Here we go! Off on the puberty adventure. Pray for us. LOL!

Ok! My tackle it Tuesday project today was something I always put off, because it is not fun! LOL! I took my van in to be serviced this morning. There is not much that is more boring than sitting and waiting on a vehicle to be serviced. I was pleasantly surprised with a short wait this time!
Other things I got done today:
What a blessing... the sun is up! The weather is going to be terrific! My daughter is off from school today, so I'm giving my boys a light school day!
We're going to enjoy a beautiful day together!!!!

My boys had their first karate tournament this weekend. It was a "fun" tournament, so although they were given scores, everyone received medals and a trophy. The boys competed in several areas, and did very well for their first time!! We were so proud!!! It was a long, but exciting afternoon!
